For 2009 we have completely re-worked the Vegas to cover a wider range of conditions and riding styles than ever before! A slightly lower aspect ratio and wider wing tips means very constant pull, extremely tight kite loops and improved low end grunt to please the C-kite lover in you. The 09 Vegas features our new 3 in one concept: Three different settings that allow you to choose your desired feel for free-ride and new-school at it‘s highest possible performance level. With a quick switch of the line connection point, the 09 Vegas offers the following three setups:
- 5th line Freestyle High Depower setting: Plenty of de-power and the classic Vegas feel you‘ve come to expect! This setting offers the most versatility and is ideal for free/wave riding, jumping and un-hooking.
- 5th line Freestyle / Newschool: Dedicated new-school feel, little to no de-power, extremely steady when unhooked and less sensitive to bar input for loaded power moves. All the safety and relaunch benefits of the 5th Element.
- 4 line Freestyle / Newschool. Dedicated new-school/competition setting. Little to no de-power and less sensitive to steering for powered tricks. Four line conversion kit available

North 2009 Bar and Lines (5th Element)
Now in its 4th year, North Kiteboarding's 5th Element has been tweaked again. The reworked IronHeart and Safety Leash require lower release forces and are now more functional even in sandy and wet saltwater conditions. The new Sliding Stopper and Stopperball with the double depower line ensure a perfect hold of the bar in all situations. The smaller and lighter VarioCleat helps you to adjust the bar fast and easy for a perfect fit.
Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will benefit from the advantages of the new 2009 5th Element bar setup.

North Gonzales Board
The North Gonzales is a true all-terrain machine. Medium width and soft forgiving flex the North Gonzales is a great free-ride board with plenty of comfort for cruising and jumping.
It is a cruisy twin-tip with plenty of comfrt for every-day riding. Available in three sizes to accommodate nearly every size rider!
Unique design features such as rounded rails, soft flex and special carving fins makes the North Gonzales a great board for getting up and riding as soon as possible!
The control is further enhanced by a wood sandwich construction and soft flex characterisitcs.
Small swept fins give you endless grip and very little drag to rip high speed carves in flat water and waves and help you load up for jumps.
The soft flex and good absorption allow you to ride effortlessly while the new carving fins give you outstanding grip and acceleration allowing for jumps, turns and riding through waves.
A great freeriding board, even in the toughest conditions, the North Gonzales makes riding easier and lets you focus on just getting out and riding!
