All Round Longboard Racing sail.
With the re-emrgence of longboard racing, Tushinghame have stepped up to thee mark with the new Tushingham XR Race sail. With the focus on designing an 'all-round' racing sail that will deliver race winning performaces across a range of conditions. Cut with a fuller profile and tighter leech than conventional sails, the sail remains flexible enough to pump efficiently and yet retains enough stability for handling in a blow.An efficient downhaul and outhaul system are a requirement and these must be adjustable on the racecourse in order to acheive top performance across a range of conditions. The 5.5 size is the optimum tool for use in Team 15 racing. For adults the 7.5 8.5 and 9.5 sizes cover all divisions in raceboard class.
And of course they are great for uncomplicated inland sailing - you can almost always go sailing if you have one longboard with a daggerboard and a raceboard sail .
