Subtle advancements to the shape, particularly in the boom area have boosted the power levels. All sails boast shorter boom lengths, improving control and helping the rider to drive the board harder.

Every Tushingham X-15 benefits from roller cams and easy-access zips, making rigging fast and uncomplicated. The three-part boom cutout maximises aerodynamic efficiency and a triple-roller pulleyblock takes the strain under high downhaul loads. New lightweight X-Ply laminates retain the Tushingham X-15's renowned strength whilst reducing weight in many areas.
