Tuition
We have been giving tuition in windsurfing
and kitesurfing in our watersports School in Poole harbour
for over 15 Years. It operates in the shallow waters of
Poole Harbour - one of the most popular places to learn
windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK. All our windsurfing
instructors have been trained to RYA standards. We currently
offer tuition in two areas - Windsurfing
and Kitesurfing

needed to take part, you just need to bring a pair of shoes

Kitesurfing
Lessons
Tuition cost - £95 one day £165 two
days This is the newest service provided by us. Kitesurfing
is a sport which has come in over the last few years. For
anyone considering the sport there is little chance of meeting
someone else with experience. But buying the equipment without
having first tried the sport can be a little daunting to
say the least.
We provide a one day kitesurfing
course for beginners which covers all the essential kitesurfing
skills and also the safety tips that you need to know. We
give a 10% discount on kit bought by students after the
course. For details of the equipment we supply go to the
kitesurfing equipment page. The courses all happen at the
edge of Poole harbour
The course starts on the land learning
to fly a power kite with harness and bar and attempting
'scudding' ie. skidding yourself along using the power of
the kite. These skills controlling the kite on the land
are important to learn before progressing to the second
part of the learn to kitesurf course which is to control
the kite on the water practice body dragging and then try
getting onto the board.
Previous experience of kite flying
and windsurfing does help but is not necessary. All the
equipment is provided by us - we are using north kites and
boards.
The courses now take place any day
of the week that suits you. We meet at the shop at 9.15
on the morning of the course.
So if you fancy a go at the newest
sport around, give us a call or mail us! DO it in Dorset!
