Our Best Wing Foiling Wings
Since the introduction of winging and wing foiling to the watersports world in 2019, there has been many adaptations and updates to the equipment as we all progress. The wings themselves have developed to be designed for certain styles of riding such as beginner and freeride, to wave and jumps; as well as the increase in size range and style of handles to boom grip.
We have put together a list of the best wings we have found for all styles of wind foiling.
> Naish Matador LT
The Matador LT is the newest wing released by Naish. The Matador is a great wing for everyone, whether you are starting out, blasting about or even jumping. With the more compact shape and less swing weight wave riders love this wing as it still remains stable with a great boost of power. We recommend the LT range in particular due to the power and control remaining the same but the wing is lighter and more maneuverable. The LT canopy has no window panels and only three wide ergonomic handles for users. Feedback already on this wing has been super positive.
> F One Strike V2
The more developed wing from F One showcases better upwind abilities, stable control under added power and comfort even when using in a wider wind range (Strike range allows you out from 12-30+ knots!) . The capabilities of the Strike in stronger winds means that this wing is a strong favourite to those looking for a wing to take them out on the waves with continual jumps and bumps in their sessions. The newer design on the Strike being lighter and with a curved boom strut enables for an easier pump on the wing and fantastic jumps. A definite wave wing favourite!
The Strike V2 comes in 7 of the smaller sizes – 2.5 | 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0 | 5.5 and in three colourways – Flame/Abyss | Abyss/Flame | Glacier/Flame
Check out the F One Strike V2 that starts from £770.
> Duotone Slick
The Slick is the most versatile wing in the Duotone range, easy to fly, intuitive handling and incredible stability no matter the conditions or how you choose to ride! The Slick has great handling, the steering is very direct due to reduced and compact wing-span, and the power controlled, even in depower. The mini boom provides better control and stability due to the connection to the wing. The newly developed and tuned Slick is described as the perfect all-rounder – great for beginners and freeride, but experts alike looking to use in the waves – simple and forgiving wing for everyone.
The Slick comes in many sizes for all fields of wing foiling – 2.5 | 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0 | 5.5 | 6.0 | 6.5 | 7.0 and the mini boom fits all. Two colours available Mint/Grey and Purple/Grey.

> Naish Wing Surfer
The Naish Wing Surfer was one of the original creations and each time it develops it remains an unbeatable wing for all-round use. Whether you are just getting into the sport or looking for a wing to use for your jumps, the Naish Wing-Surfer does not disappoint. The newest version has smaller window panels for reduced weight without compromising on visibility. The Naish Wing Surfer is now deemed the ‘best combo of get-up-and-go power, a wide wind range, insane top speed, and unmatched jumping ability’.
Naish Wing Surfer comes in a wide size range for all styles of riding too – 2.5 | 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0 | 5.5 | 6.0 | 6.5 | 7.5 and the colours available are Grey | Yellow | Black.
The Naish Wing Surfer starts at £659.
> Starboard AirRush FreeWing V2
It was awarded ‘the best getting started wing award from SUPboarder Magazine’ as it is stable and stiff but super reactive with great acceleration and speed when you need it. The Freewing we would say is great for those getting into wing foiling and want easy progression too, as the wider centre strut enables for great stiffness and power. The compact outline profile enables the wing to be easy to handle with turns and spins on the foil, it has great depower in your hands for longer sessions whilst having a deep and forward window position for safe viewing at all points on the water.
AirRush Freewing comes in several sizes – 2.0 | 3.0 | 4.0 | 5.0 | 6.0 | 7.0 | 8.0 and 4 colours – Teal/ Red | Red/ Dark Teal | Teal/ Pink | Orange/ Navy.
From £690 you can get a Starboard AirRush FreeWing V2.
