The Koal Surface Foil is Ronix's answer for those who love to fly.  Development has carefully considered the shape, construction and track system.  The resulting Koal Surface foil incorporates the core of Ronix's high end Flyweight Pro series, but wrapped in a bulletproof Surface skin.  You'll benefit from the absolute feel you're used to with Ronix surfers but with the durability of a wakeboard.

The design is foil specific and built from the ground upwards, with a carefully considered rocker, bevel profile and swing weight.

SIZING ADVICE

There isn’t a very direct correlation between board size and rider size.

Ronix have had people 230 lbs. preferring the 4’1 and other people 175 lbs. preferring the 4’8.

Since there isn’t much contact between the board and the water determining the board push and drive the way that there is on a wakesurf board – instead size is determined by ability and style.

Benefits of a 3’8 length

    • The most amount of lift
    • Quicker response
    • More attack angle in your cutbacks
    • More power in your pumping

Benefits of a 4’1 length

  • The perfect blend of stability and response, lift, pumping power and turning radius

Benefits of a 4’8 length.

  • Easier deep water starts – if you are new to foiling in addition to a shorter mast and a balance front wing this 4’8 length will help with your learning curve to foiling
  • More control, stability, and comfort in rougher water conditions
