LONGBOARD SUP

 SMOOTH, STYLISH, SIMPLE

High-performance Longboard paddle board that is versatile, incredibly responsive and smooth to turn.

This stand up paddleboard is inspired by our legendary Starboard Surf Longboard model, designed to perform in waves from 1ft small beach breaks to head-high reef breaks. The boards offer fast down-the-line surfing, as well as the ability to perform in the critical section of the wave. These cutting-edge shapes are totally well received by our team riders and anyone who have tested them.

KEY FEATURES -

Faster and more forgiving nose riding performance, due to the combination of rocker and bottom shape, makes transitions from nose to tail flow naturally. The rails are radically thinner, giving more bite, control and response to maneuver between bottom to top turns. The board just wants to go where you look, with less pressure at ease.
The nose outline combined with thinner profile reduces the swing weight in the nose for faster rotations through turns.

> New thin - Special emphasis on thin, carving rails throughout the Longboard SUP was a main focus, allowing the new range to have true Longboard performance in a SUP design. The super thin nose and tail are some of the thinnest rails we have ever used on our boards to give the riders great performance in the waves.

> New very slight domed deck - The volume is fuller in the middle of the board to compensate for the fine rails, yet has been refined to maintain a moderate flat section for stability.

> New bottom shape - The slight nose concave helps carry the speed while improving the stability when riding the nose. Merging into a double concave midsection to engage rail to rail turning from the midpoint, feeding to a vee tail for snappy and quick maneuvers off the tail. The new bottom shape enhances the flow between transitions from nose to tail and feels more forgiving in the process.

> New rocker - Moderate nose kick helps avoid the nose catching through turns, yet holds solid speed with toes on the nose. Similarly, the tail kick helps unlock the turning potential for that high-performance surfing, making the board feel much snappier and shorter when on the tail.

> New fin supply - Blue Carbon comes with Prepreg Carbon fins. Limited Series and Limited Series Red come with Armacore Center Fin and Net Positive side fins.

What sizes are there?

> 10'0" x 31" / 151L - The added thickness in the standing and wider width make for a super stable ride, yet with the same bite and response that make this model perform so well. A favorite for heavier riders of those hunting more stability.

Available construction: Blue Carbon / Limited Series / NEW Limited Series Red

> 10'0" x 29" / 133L - With a little extra stability from 10 additional liters of float than its predecessor, the 10’0”x29” is without doubt a high-performance longboard. The longer length from the 10’0” carries speed down the line, with just the right amount of swing weight to flow through turns.

Available construction: Blue Carbon / Limited Series / NEW Limited Series Red

> 9'0" x 30" / 124L - This new size gives the best of both worlds, sitting between 10’0” and 9’0” in length, it gives all the benefits from the long rail yet with slightly faster rotations through turns. The 30” width is a solid platform for those that are intimidated by the 28” or 29”.

Available construction: Blue Carbon / Limited Series / NEW Limited Series Red

> 9'0" x 26" / 92L - For lighter and advanced riders up to 75kg, the 26” model is the go to for Benoit and Zane. The narrower width helps fit in more critical sections of the waves, generates faster speeds down the line and is ultra reactive to foot pressure.

Available constructions: Blue Carbon

What are the constructions?

BLUE CARBON
LIGHTWEIGHT, STRONG AND DURABLE, 2X CARBON STRINGER

• Top grade 150g Biaxial Carbon wraps the entire board, joining with an overlap on the deck and bottom to create flat stringer, increasing the total breakage strength.

• 2 skins of durable fibre glass form a sandwich around the biaxial Carbon, protecting the carbon by dampening and absorbing the impact.

• The combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase the overall total breakage strength.

• Multiple reinforcements in the standing area, nose and tail increase impact resistance.

LIMITED SERIES
TIMELESS LOOK, SOLID PERFORMANCE

• Twin T-stringers made from glass fibre are positioned on the deck and bottom of the board close to the rail, providing a massive increase in the overall strength against total breakage in surf.

• An additional wide layer of 200g glass wraps the rails for higher strength against paddle impact and further reinforces the overall strength against buckling.

• The deck features reinforced biaxial glass and Australian pine, to resist heel dents and impact from the standing area.

• The nose and tail are wrapped in multiple layers of glass fiber for further strength on these impact zones.
