SPEEDSTER - NO CAM FREERIDE SPORT

With its outline coming straight from the RS:RACING EVO11, the SPEEDSTER is an explosive performance Freeride sail. More user friendly than a cambered sail (easier to rig, uphaul and jibe), the Speedster is more balanced, offers greater performance and wind range than a classic freeride sail.

It delivers an exhilarating combination of performance, speed and acceleration. Slalom without cambers.

HANDLING AND PERFORMANCE - Combination of a narrow sleeve without cambers and race inspired luff curves.

POWER AND STABILITY - The tubular battens configuration allows the center of effort to remain in place and reduce the weight while giving optimum profile shape and stability

SPEED AND ACCELERATION - Battens are laid out angled up from the mast and, as a result, they end up laying horizontal and parallel to the airflow when sailing, which helps cleaning the airflow along the sail body and reduces drag.

TECHNOLOGY

//Airflow battens //Twin seams //Tubular battens //Two clew grommets //Clew loopster

//Continuous luff construction - Elasticity. Stability. Rotation. Lightweight.
Carries down haul tension in a continuous panel protecting horizontal seams from high loads that put stress on glue and stretches. Durable luff glide sleeve.

 //Fuse Batten pockets - We have taken out traditional, separate batten pockets by overlapping body panels to efficiently create a sleeve for battens. This reduces unnecessary weight, simplifies construction and creates a fully symmetrical batten cavity, eliminating the tendency of traditional batten pockets too load differently from one tack to another.

//Twin seams - Double stitching is used on all critical seams across our sails, allowing them to endure prolonged exposure to high loads and impacts
