CARVE

The CARVE gets you planing in around one knot less wind than before. It’s smoother, faster, and more controlled on the reach, with improved upwind angle. A wider tail boosts early take-off, while reduced wetted surface increases speed. In jibes, it carries speed and exits fully planing.

> Earlier planing with less effort - wider tail geometry increases lift and release, making it noticeably easier to get planing in marginal winds. 

> Smooth acceleration + stable speed - refined cutaways reduce drag and help the board accelerate cleanly while staying planted and predictable at high speed.

> Comfort-first freeride handling - balanced volume distribution and forgiving rails delivery confidence, control, and easy carving gybes across long sessions. 

> New wider tail outline (120,130,150) - added tail width increases lift and makes planing and acceleration easier, especially in marginal freeride winds. 

> New double-step cutaways (120,130,150) - refined cutaways reduce wetted surface for cleaner release, faster acceleration, and improved efficiency at speed.

> Flat vee to double concave bottom - smooth bottom contours balance comfort, speed and control through chop and in gybes.

> Speed-focused shape - tail and rocker geometry are tuned for early release and stable top-end freeride speed.

> Easy, carving gybes - forgiving rails and balanced volume make gybes smoother, more predictable, and less technical.

WOOD CARBON SANDWICH

The Carbon Sandwich construction is focused on maximum performance and responsiveness. With a lighter overall weight and higher stiffness, it delivers faster acceleration, sharper control, and a more direct connection to the water. On the CARVE, this translates to quicker planing, a livelier feel underfoot, and higher top-end speed for riders who want a sportier, more dynamic freeride experience.

 

WOOD CARBON

The Wood Carbon construction blends carbon reinforcements with a wood layer to enhance comfort and durability. The added damping from the wood smooths out chop and vibrations, resulting in a more forgiving, stable ride. On the CARVE, this construction excels in long freeride sessions, offering easy control, confidence at speed, and reduced fatigue, ideal for riders prioritizing comfort without sacrificing performance.

Ordered over the phone. Staff are great and friendly as you'd expect from a family run business with great knowledge of products. Board arrived within two days. Had a slight mix from their suppliers which was no fault of the shop, but the staff responded straight away and have gone above and beyond to resolve the issue quickly and fairly leaving us both happy. Practical and comfortable - even with a large head. Forehead padding much improved from previous version. Like the extra ear protection this helmet gives. Once helmet is on I don’t notice it - even ducking through a wave.
