Chris Shaw

The owner and the brains behind the business, Chris and the shop are one, without Chris, Poole Harbour Watersports would not be what it is today. Chris has over 50 years of windsurfing experience on the water and has been running the shop for 30 years now. He is the most knowledgeable person you will come across in the area on any wind sports; the go-to windsurf and wing foiling specialist. No task is too big or too small for Chris. He has built up a great community locally to make the sports super accessible. Chris lives, breathes and is the embodiment of Poole Harbour Watersports.

When not working, you'll find Chris: Windsurfing, Windsurf foiling, Wing foiling, Running or sorting out his 4 kids onto the water!

India Hudson

Starting down the van at age 16, India has now worked her way up to shop manager, being Chris’ right hand woman! India has worked at Poole Harbour Watersports for the past 7 years, she keeps the shop you know and love running smoothly and her meticulous attention to detail results in our shop running like a well-organized machine. Not only does she manage in-store she manages the ever growing needs for our website keeping all you lovely customers up to date with our products! With her passion for the watersports world you won’t come across a more dedicated employee to their job role. Any day not spent in the shop she will try to get out on the water. 

When not working, you'll find India: Paddleboarding, Sea swimming, Windsurfing, Surfing (or trying to), Running or just at the beach!

Ella Davis

The newest member to the team but she is the missing piece we needed in the shop. Always equipped with a great smile and welcoming manner, Ella provides the highest quality customer service and gives 100% to find the perfect item for you no matter if it’s a pair of gloves or a paddleboard. With a history in sailing, Ella has great background knowledge on what you need to get out on the water and our local area. Not only is she great at being ‘front-of-house’, Ella also maintains the running of the shop and the website, with a knowledge on all products we have to offer. On a busy day in summer, Ella tends to reside on the shop floor and makes sure everyone leaves with a happy purchase or useful information on what they may purchase.

When not working, you’ll find Ella: Swimming, Paddleboarding, Sailing.
