LITE TECH

WOOD STANDING AREA, PRECISION MOLDED &  EXTRA STRONG

  • Unidirectional stringer - extra rigidity with the introduction of unidirectional stringer bands and solid wtih added rail/nose reinforcements.
  • Strong fin boxes - the fin boxes are molded with extra strong Akulon Eco, made from upcycled fishing net, then wrapped high density foam and sandwiched in over 1000 grams of glass reinforcements.
  • Rigid standing area - a standing area of 0.6mm sustainably sourced Australian Pine is added for extra deck impact resistance and rigidity.
  • EPS Core: 15kg/m3 density - shear resistant, fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight. Our moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage. 
  • IQ handle for easy carrying, made from recycled ABS.

LIMITED

TIMELESS LOOK, SOLID PERFORMANCE

  • NEW Honeycomb pad - this structure makes this design truly stand out. Not only does it look unique and benefits from a reduction in weight from a pull pad, we believe it offers one of the best grips we have ever used. The small gaps between the pads give you multiple corners to wedge your feet against, providing the rider additional grip and more control to drive the board through harder turns. 
  • Twin T-Stringer Deck and Bottom - this combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase and protect the overall total breakage strength. The T-stringers are positioned close to the rail acting similar to an i-beam to endure heavy drops and strong wipe outs. 
  • Strong fin boxes - they are molded with extra strong Akulon Eco, made from upcycled fishing net, then wrapped in high density foam and sandwiched in over 1000 grams of glass reinforcements. 
  • Multiple reinforcement - In the standing area, nose and tail increase impact resistance. An additional wide layer of 200g glass wraps the rails for higher strength against paddle impact, and further reinforces the overall strength against buckling. 
  • EPS Core: 15kg/m3 density - shear resistant, fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight. Our moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage.

STARLITE

STRONGEST RAILS EVER TESTED

  • 200G Twill Azure Fibre - a new ultra-durable woven Azure and Charcoal rail band proves to be the strongest rail protection ever tested. The colour comes from the fibre itself, meaning there is no pigment on the rail, offering the clearest optic and highest UV protection. 
  • Full Australian Pine deck - Featuring a full deck of 0.6mm Australian pine wood which is sandwiched between 2 glass outer skins, increasing the overall total breakage strength and reducing the weight due to a lower resin absorption. 
  • Twin T-stringer deck and bottom - this combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase and protect the overall total breakage strength. The T-stringers are positioned close to the rail acting similar to an i-beam to endure heavy drops and strong wipe outs. 
  • Fibre glass reinforcement - A combination of different fibre glass densities wrap the bottom for high strength and durability.
  • EPS Core: 15kg.m3 density - Shear resistant, fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight. Our moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage.
  • Water based dye - Starlite now uses a custom engineered water-based dye and resin swirl optic to reduce PU paint, reduces paint chips and provides a custom look for each board.

AS STRONG AS POSSIBLE, SOFT RAIL & HARD BOTTOM

  • Full soft nose deck - 3mm thick EVA pad covers the whole nose area creating soft touch and impact resistance. The softness makes it comfortable and safe to fall down when learning to paddle and surf. 
  • Full soft rail - Impact-resistant high density thermoformed EVA foam wraps the full rails. 
  • Toeing eye - to tie the boards together as a raft for anchoring. Perfect for schools and clubs.
  • Rigid standing area - a standing area of 0.6mm sustainably sourced Australian Pine and Glass for extra deck impact resistance and rigidity. 
  • Multiple reinforcements - muliple layers of high-grade fibreglass with full resin wetout. 
  • 160g glass on the bottom - An extra layer of 160g glass is laminated on the bottom for added durability and impact resistance.

ART YOU CAN RIDE - The Starshot Construction comes with beautiful graphics designed by SUP World Champion and artist, Sonni Honscheid. It comes with a wood standing area, scratch-proof rail savers and precision moulded EPS core. The Starshot is where fashion meets performance.

  • 2-IN-1 shoulder carry strap - Also a paddle holder to attach your paddle. Easier to carry as the board simply hangs effortlessly on the shoulder and free up your hand to multi-task, hold your coffee, or phone. When not in use, the bungee sits flat on the board so it doesn't drag in the water. 
  • Rigid standing area - a standing area of 0.6mm sustainably sourced Australian Pine is added for extra deck impact and resistance and rigidity. 
  • Multiple reinforcements - Multiple layers of high grade fiberglass with full resin wetout.

Carbon Top Construction features a full deck of Biaxial Carbon mixed with a protection layer of strategic lower weight glass placements. The intelligent light material mix makes the paddle board light to carry, provides instant acceleration and top speed on the water, at the best value ever.

  • Full Biaxial carbon deck - Carbon Top features a full deck wrap of Biaxial Carbon for its incredible weight to strength ratio, reducing significantly the overall weight.
  • Rigid standing area - a standing area od 0.6mm sustainably sourced Australian Pine is added for extra deck impact resistance and rigidity. 
  • Multiple reinforcements - A combination of different fiberglass densities wrap the entire hull for high strength and durability.
  • 2x Glass T-Stringers - 2x glass T-stringers on the full deck significantly increases strength against total breakage in waves.On the Generation model only.

BLUE CARBON

LIGHTWEIGHT, 2X FULL CARBON, STRONG AND DURABLE

  • Ultra lightweight biaxial carbon - Top grade 150g Biaxial Carbon wraps the entire board, joining with an overlap on the deck and bottom to create at stringer, increasing the total breakage strength. The 45-degree woven fibre brings an ultra-crisp and responsive flex and creates the skeleton structure to strengthen the entire board.
  • Sandwich technology - 2 skins of durable fibre glass form a sandwich around the biaxial Carbon, protecting the carbon by dampening and absorbing the impact.
  • Twin T-stringer deck and bottom - this combination of twin T-stringers deck and bottom work together to increase and protect the overall total breakage strength. The T-stringers are positioned close to the rail acting similar to an i-beam to endure heavy drops and strong wipe outs.
