A rundown on the new Naish Foils 2026

Chris Shaw

It’s felt a bit like Christmas in the shop this week with the arrival of the new Naish foils for both stock and demo. There’s been a lot of hype around this latest lineup, with Naish aiming right at the top end of the market in terms of speed, control, stability, and manoeuvrability—and first impressions suggest they’re definitely on the right track.

The range is split into two main setups: the Excalibur front wing paired with the E-Serie stabiliser, and the Siren front wing matched with the S-Serie stabiliser, each clearly designed with a different style of riding in mind.

We did get a chance to try them out late last year at a dealer demo event in Portland, which gave us a good early feel for what they’re about. Now that we’ve got them in-store, we’ve also started to hear some initial feedback from customers who have demoed, and we’re looking forward to getting them back on the water to test them properly across a wider range of conditions.

Here’s a quick rundown of our first impressions to help break down the new range:

The Excalibur Series -

If you’re after a high-performance all-round wing, this one’s a really solid option. It handles most riding styles well, although it’s probably not the first choice if you’re mainly into surf or wave riding. One thing to note is sizing—it's worth dropping down at least one size on the front wing, maybe even two, compared to what you’re used to.

On the water, the glide is what really stands out. Through gybes, it just keeps going—easily carrying you much farther than you’d expect—and it holds that momentum so well that you can settle into the swell and even ditch the wing for a bit. Getting up on foil feels super easy too, with really early, smooth lift, and once you’re up, it keeps building speed while still feeling controlled. Overall, it’s fast, efficient, and just really fun to ride.

The Siren Series -

This one’s clearly aimed at surf and swell riding, and it feels right at home in those conditions. It’s much more tuned for manoeuvrability, so if you like throwing in tighter turns, quick reactions, a bit of freestyle, or even the odd jump, it’s definitely built for that kind of riding.

We haven’t had loads of time on the Siren just yet, so this is more of a first impression for now. Jamie, our shop rider, is due to get out on it next week, so we’ll have a more in-depth update once he’s had a proper session on it.
