The DUKE SLS is Duotone's 5-batten SLS sail for intermediate to advanced riders who combine Freewave and wave riding.

The DUKE SLS adapts its pull character to the board you're riding. Rig it on a single-fin Freewave or small Freeride board and it produces a slight forward pull that keeps the session flowing. Put the same sail on a higher-drag multi-fin wave board and the pull distributes evenly across both hands, putting you in control on steeper, more critical sections. This windsurfing sail covers both scenarios without any setup change.

That versatility comes from the DEFINED DRAFT MOTION concept: a slightly forward draft position with precisely controlled flex. CARBON XPLY batten pockets lock battens and draft into a defined position with virtually no stretch, giving the sail the response of carbon battens while preserving the durability of glass battens to survive even gnarly washes. Additional CARBON XPLY reinforcement in the high-load top and tack areas, combined with a STRIPPED TO THE MAX panel layout, keeps the whole package noticeably light.

Low-end power is addressed by the BATTEN FREE CENTER concept. The larger gap between the foot batten and the batten above the boom makes the boom area easier to inflate, delivering the early planing response of a 4-batten sail with the control of a 5-batten. From gusty side-shore freewave sessions to proper overhead surf, the Duke SLS keeps you in control through every turn.
