MEDIUM ASPECT - ALL-ROUND WAVE The E-Types are a family of medium aspect wings. By nature, medium aspect wings are versatile, maneuverable and easy to control. This makes them all-round: they are suitable for a wide range of foiling styles.
Looking for one wing to do 'everything'? This is it. Freestyling, freeriding, pumping, carving up waves or wakes - the E-Type blends it all together in a perfect package.
1800, 1400, 1100: recommended for progressing foilers. 900, 750, 625: Benoit Carpentier's signature wings and our ultimate wave wing. Also suitable for freestyle and wing foiling in windy, wavey conditions.

TAIL WINGS:
> Pro 180 - Highly recommended when using the E-Type for surfing, freestyling or wingfoiling. The Pro is a very versatile tail wing, offering a stable ride with a nice tracking feel. The Pro 180 is also available in 'Short'. This Short version reduces the fuselage length from 66cm down to 59cm, making the foil more reactive and maneuverable. For progressing riders looking for something easy, we recommend going a larger tail wing like the Pro 220 or the Freeride 330.
> Pro 220 - Like the 180, the Pro 220 is a great all-rounder, offering stability and a nice tracking feel. Its larger area will give the progressing rider a nice easy ride, particularly during transitions when a larger tail wing helps to keep the board stable and flying through the air.
> Freeride 330 - For the heavier riders, the Freeride 330 tail wing offers maximum stability, even at lower speeds. Foiling just became as easy as possible.

Strong and light for freestyle, streamlined and extremely stiff for racing, compatible with thick or thin wings, UCS also offers geometry options that work for all foiling disciplines, from wing to windsurf. All in an elegant and simple-to-use system.
How do the wings connect?
Slide on the wings and tighten all the bolts that are conveniently placed on the same side. Both front and tail wings use the same connection, with large, flat mating surfaces that guarantee maximum strength and stiffness.
A thin carbon cover wraps around the top of the saddle to guarantee a smooth, streamlined nose no matter the front wing’s shape, size and thickness. No more steps or seamlines to disturb the flow of water.
How does the mast connect?
Two pairs of bolts placed side by side creates an innovative mast-fuselage connection that is simple, strong and incredibly stiff. A subtle mating V-shape keeps it all aligned under pressure.
> Can UCS wings be used on previous generation Starboard foils?
No, but we offer a 'hybrid' fuselage at a special rate for those who are upgrading. This hybrid fuselage lets you attach UCS wings to the preceding generations of Starboard Foil masts. Available in 66cm, 99cm and 109cm.

So the t-grip is fits the palm really well, the shaft has a lovely feel, just grippy enough, and the blade has lots of control through the water. It feels great at high or low cadence. Really happy with the purchase.
